Privacy Policy
How AI Future Learning Lab handles your personal information.

1. Who we are
AI Future Learning Lab ("we", "us", "our") is an AI education programme operated from Perth, Western Australia. The site at aifuturelab.com.au and the programmes referenced on it are run under Howll AI. The business is operated by Creditvue Holdings Pty Ltd (ABN 98 666 028 824). This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect through this website and through our enrolment and enquiry processes.
We comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). If anything in this policy is unclear or you'd like more detail, email us at hello@howll.ai and we'll respond within 5 business days.
2. Information we collect
We only collect what we need to run the programmes and respond to enquiries. Specifically:
When you enquire or enrol
- Your name and the name of the participant (if different — e.g. parent enrolling a teen)
- Email address and, where you provide it, phone number
- For school enquiries: school name, role, year levels, cohort size, format preference
- For parent enrolments: child's age, year level, any access or learning needs you choose to disclose
- For a parent evening request: your email, your child's school name, suburb if you give it, and whether you're happy for us to mention to the school that a parent asked
- The free-text content of any message you send us
When you visit the website
- Standard server logs from our hosting provider (Vercel) — IP address, browser type, pages visited, referrer, timestamp. Used for security, performance, and basic traffic analytics. Retained for a maximum of 90 days.
- Vercel Web Analytics — privacy-first, cookie-free analytics that count page views and tell us which pages get visited, from which countries, on which device types. It does not use cookies, does not fingerprint users, does not track you across sites, and never collects personally identifiable information. Data is aggregated and anonymous. See Vercel's analytics privacy notes for the technical detail.
- Advertising tags: the Meta Pixel and the LinkedIn Insight Tag. We use these on this website to measure how our advertising performs and to show our ads to people who have visited the site. Through cookies and identifiers set by Meta and LinkedIn, they collect device and browser information, the pages you visit here, and actions you take such as signing up. We do not pass your email address or form answers to them through these tags. See Cookies & tracking for how to opt out.
- We do not use Google Analytics. If we add any other advertising or analytics tool, we will update this policy first.
When you book a call
- Information you provide via Cal.com when scheduling a discovery call (name, email, optional notes). This is processed by Cal.com under their privacy policy.
When you use a form inside one of our ads
- If you sign up through a form inside one of our ads on Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn, that platform passes us what you submit in the form: your email address, usually your name, and any answers you choose to give (for example, what you teach, or your school and role). We handle it the same way as a sign-up on this website.
3. How we use it
We use your information to:
- Respond to your enquiry or process your enrolment
- Send you information directly relevant to the programme you enrolled in (session times, parent recaps, showcase invites, materials)
- Send you the free resources, newsletter and follow-up emails you signed up for (see below)
- Schedule and prepare for booked calls
- Operate and secure the website
- Measure how our advertising performs and show our ads to people who have visited the site (see section 6)
- Comply with legal obligations (e.g. WWCC verification, insurance, child-safe reporting where required)
Emails. When you sign up on this website (for a free resource or our newsletter), we add your email address to our mailing list. You may get a short series of follow-up emails about what you signed up for, and occasional updates about our programmes. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes you off the list. If you only send us an enquiry through the contact form, we reply to it and don't add you to the mailing list. We do not sell your information.
4. Who we share it with
We share your information only with these third parties:
- Email service providers: to send and receive emails (e.g. Google Workspace).
- Resend: delivers the emails our website forms send to us, and sends the newsletter and follow-up emails you sign up for. It receives your email address, which form you used, and how you found us (for example, the ad or link you came from).
- Neon: hosts our own customer records in Sydney, where we keep your sign-up details and answers so we can follow up.
- Clerk: runs sign-in for our course portal. If you create a portal login, it holds your email address and sign-in details.
- Meta and LinkedIn: through the advertising tags described in section 6. They receive browsing data from this website only (device and browser information, pages visited, and which of our forms you submitted), never your email address or form answers.
- Our automation service (Make or Zapier): passes sign-ups from forms inside our Meta and LinkedIn ads into our mailing list and customer records. It handles only what you entered in that form.
- Cal.com: for scheduling discovery calls. Their privacy policy is at cal.com/privacy.
- Vercel: our website host. Their privacy policy is at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
- Schools you've nominated: when delivering an in-school programme, we share session-relevant information with the school's nominated contact.
- Government and law enforcement: only where required by law, court order, or to protect a child's safety.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to any third party.
5. Children & minors
Our in-person teen sessions involve participants aged 12 and over. We take child safety seriously:
- Enrolment is always made by a parent or legal guardian, never directly by a minor.
- All facilitators hold a current Working with Children Check (WWCC) and have signed our child-safe policy.
- We use AI tools responsibly in any minor-facing session — students are supervised throughout, prompts are reviewed live, and we work openly so nothing happens off-screen. Where a tool offers content filters or non-training settings, we turn them on.
- We collect the minimum information needed about a minor — typically name, age, year level, and any access or learning needs the parent chooses to share.
- Photos or video of minors are only taken with explicit parent consent, and are never used in marketing without separate written permission.
- Parents may request access to or deletion of their child's information at any time by emailing hello@howll.ai.
6. Cookies & tracking
This site uses two kinds of cookies: functional cookies (for example, preserving session state on third-party services like Cal.com) and advertising cookies set by Meta and LinkedIn.
We use the Meta Pixel and the LinkedIn Insight Tag on this website to measure how our advertising performs and to show our ads to people who have visited the site. Using cookies and identifiers set by Meta and LinkedIn, these tags collect device and browser information, the pages you visit on this site, and actions you take here, such as signing up. Meta and LinkedIn may connect this with an account you hold with them, and they handle it under their own privacy policies (Meta, LinkedIn).
We do not pass your email address or form answers to Meta or LinkedIn through these tags. When you sign up or send us a message, the tags record only that it happened and which form you used.
Our advertising is aimed at parents, teachers and school leaders. We do not use these tags to target children or students.
Vercel Web Analytics, described in section 2, is cookie-free and is not used for advertising.
You can opt out at any time:
- Meta: change your Meta ad preferences to stop ads based on your activity on other websites, including this one.
- LinkedIn: in your LinkedIn advertising settings, turn off ads based on data from other websites. If you don't have a LinkedIn account, use LinkedIn's guest controls.
- Your browser: block or delete cookies, including third-party cookies, in your browser's settings. Private browsing and tracking protection features also limit these tags.
If we add any other advertising or analytics tool, we will update this policy first.
7. Storage & security
Personal information is stored in services hosted in Australia or the United States (e.g. Google Workspace, Vercel, Cal.com, Resend, Clerk). Our customer records (Neon) are held in Sydney. Where information is held overseas, the third party is bound by contractual or legal obligations equivalent to or stronger than the APPs.
Meta and LinkedIn may process the data collected by their advertising tags, and by forms inside their ads, in the United States and other countries. They handle it under their own privacy policies (see section 6).
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information from unauthorised access, loss, or misuse: access controls, encrypted transit (HTTPS), and limiting access to only those who need it. No system is perfectly secure; if you believe your information may have been compromised, please contact us immediately.
8. Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Principles you have the right to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you (APP 12)
- Ask us to correct it if it's wrong (APP 13)
- Ask us to delete it, subject to any legal retention requirements
- Withdraw consent for any optional use (e.g. photo permission)
Email hello@howll.ai to make any of these requests. We'll respond within 30 days, usually faster.
9. Complaints
If you believe we've mishandled your personal information, please contact us first at hello@howll.ai so we can try to resolve it directly. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC):
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage for at least 30 days.
